A ten-minute Sunday script: land receipts, take two dollar swaps, pick one pack size, stop.

Do not build a new personality. Run this script.
Open the receipt folder or inbox filter. Forward any store emails still sitting there. Snap the paper pile from the counter bowl. Recycle the strips. You are not archiving for fun. You are landing this week's trips.
Confirm each trip has a store and a date. Skim high-dollar lines. Fix one ugly abbreviation if milk looks like "ORG MLK." Leave birthday cake alone. Noise is allowed; patterns are the job.
Open Swaps. Sort by dollars, not by how clever the suggestion looks. Take two staples with real money on the table, like coffee at $3.20 and paper at $4.50, and put them on the list. Skip pennies and anything the house will reject.
Open unit-price history on one staple that hurt. Choose the pack size for this week. Add it. Stop. Ten minutes is the point of the timer.
Capture the new receipt the same day if you can. Next Sunday starts warm instead of empty. The habit is the capture plus the ten minutes. Not a spreadsheet, not a guilt spiral, not a second job.
Set a calendar block. Name it "receipts." Protect it like a dentist appointment you actually keep.
Forward a month of receipts and see where the same basket costs less. Unit prices, swaps, and history in one place.
